SUHAKAM Library was established in 2002, located on the 12th Floor of Suhakam headquarters, Menara TH Perdana, Jalan Sultan Ismail. The library is the only library in particular that highlighted the areas of Human Rights. It includes books, journal, conference proceedings, audio and video tapes, as well as theses and dissertations. These documents are available in both Bahasa Malaysia and English.
Members of the public who have an interest in the field of Human Rights, especially students, NGOs or researchers may use the facilities and reference materials available at the library during office hours. At the moment, SUHAKAM does not allow lending of books or other documents to the public.
For group tours, you are required to make appointment in advance. Please contact SUHAKAM office in advance in order for the librarian to set the date and time of visit for the purpose of providing query services, tour escort and assisting in catalogue search.
