The International Coordination Division (ICD) oversees the international dimension of the Commission’s work and facilitates any form of engagement by the Commission at the regional and international levels. Such engagement encompasses interaction with other national human rights institutions (NHRIs) as well as regional and international bodies relating to the promotion and protection of human rights, including relevant mechanisms of the United Nations. The International Coordination Division also serves as the focal point for the Commission’s involvement and activity in various networks of NHRIs such as the South East Asia NHRIs Forum (SEANF), the Asia Pacific Forum of NHRIs (APF), the Commonwealth Forum of NHRIs (CFNHRI) and the International Coordinating Committee of National Institutions for the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights (ICC), all of which the Commission is an active member.
